GAME

Here you have another game!

Let's play with the verbs!

Let's remember! The definition of a fragment is “a piece of something, rather than the whole.” Therefore, a sentence fragment refers to only part of a sentence because one (or more) of the three criteria is missing.

The fragment may lack the subject or the verb.

A Run-On sentence is incorrect because it occurs when two or more complete ides are joined without a word to connect them or a punctuation marking them as separate.

Complete the following exercises and hand them in to your teacher on Friday, March 23, 2018.
I- Run-On sentence Yes or No
1. I run for a living I enjoy looking at the scenery. ________

  2. The present tense is used for anything that happens right now or for general statements.
  3. The future tense is used for anything that will happen at some point later on.

Present Simple is used for…

The simple present tense is mostly used for three things:

  2. To describe an action that is no longer true.

Future Simple is used for…

  2. To talk about what you will do sometime in the future.

Present Continuous is used for…

Talking about something ongoing that’s happening now or in the near future. Example: ‘You are reading this article now.
Choose the correct form of the verb in simple present tense.
