This is the first task which I am going to send you guys! This may include videos and interactive games that you should look at.You must complete it in order to be ready for the other one. III- Regular Verbs past tense, adding -ed.

B. Use these verbs to practice adding -ed to form the past tense.

Add the suffix –ed to the following words and write the new word underneath.
Words that end with –e, just add –d. 
chase___      dive___       graze___     doze___ 

Words that end with –y, change the ‘y’ to an ‘i’ and then add –ed. 

cry___       try___       copy____      tidy___       bury____

Words that end with a short vowel and a consonant, double the final consonant before adding –ed. (except words which end with c or x) 

trip___       stop___       slam____       jog____       chat____


Most other words, just add –ed. 

jump___      push___       lift___       follow___      pack____
